While DL Cards are increasing in popularity the Classic Tri fold brochure is still much in demand especially for tourism, catalogues, or when a DL card does not have the space to house all the info.

Brochures are printed on a variety of smooth, textured or recycled stock and with a matt or gloss finish. We listed the most common formats used.

  • FLYERS
    can be any size with the A4 or DL (1/3 of an A4) the most common
  • POSTERS
    are commonly used to advertise an event and range from A3 to A0 or larger
  • TRI-FOLD
    brochures are an A4 sheet folded in three making 6 panels
  • BI-FOLD
    are an A4 sheet folded in two making four panels
  • Z-FOLD
    Brochures are used when more panels are needed. The 'harmonica' fold allows for a larger number of panes
  
  WHAT'S NEXT WHEN
YOU MAKE AN ENQUIRY?		  
 

1.

Shortly after an enquiry is made, our designer will call to talk about the purpose of the brochure and the best way to reflect this in a design. A 30% deposit is required to proceed with an order.

 

2.

Send us your logo, artwork, photos and text to be included on the card. If no material is available we can create or source it.

We have access to thousands of images or illustrations and a copy writer to edit or write your text.

 

3.

We'll email our proposals for evaluation until you're happy with the result.

Once the balance is paid, the cards are printed and shipped within five business days.

Glossary of
Paper Terms

  • Acid Free Paper
    Paper manufactured to a neutral pH reading (7).
    Used for fine art prints, limited edition printing, scrap booking
  • Antique Finish
    Random surface quality created by "felts" in the manufacturing process
  • Brightness
    Light reflecting property of paper when measured under a specially calibrated blue light.
  • Basis Weight
    The weight of one ream of paper (500 sheets) when cut to the industry standard for that specific grade of paper.
  • Bristols
    Solid or laminated heavy-weight printing paper made to a thickness of .006" or higher. Bristols are often used for printed items that require repeated handling.
  • Bulk
    The thickness of paper when compared to its weight. A high bulk paper is thicker but less compact than a low-bulk paper of the same weight and size.
  • Calendaring
    Part of the paper manufacturing process where the paper "web" passes between polished metal rolls. This increases the paper's smoothness and provides a uniform thickness (caliper).
